Series two of the She can. She did. podcast kicks off with my recent chat with the talented duo behind Sonder & Tell – the London based content and communications agency that helps story-driven brands including the likes of AirBnb, Jigsaw and Cath Kidston to name but a few, to find their (authentic) voice and express their story in the most effective way.

Having admired the brand from afar since its launch in 2017, I ventured to London to sit down with Co-Founders Kate Hamilton and Emily Ames, to discuss the evolution of their business story so far. From battling imposter syndrome behind the scenes after their well-deserved placing on the prestigious Forbes ’30 under 30′ list, learning to establish boundaries with clients and defend their worth; to the steps they took in the early days to cement their brand, carve out a USP within what is an already saturated market and utilise their network; it’s hard not to be impressed by what Emily and Kate have accomplished with Sonder & Tell in just under two years and they’re experiences and nuggets of advice throughout this chat will resonate with many of you I’m sure…

PS. We reference their interview with Harry Ashbridge, Chief Writer at Monzo once or twice in this interview – I read it whilst killing time at a bus stop around the corner from Kate’s house before heading to this interview (I was the keen bean that arrived v.early for once!) and it highlights the power of words and storytelling for brands like yours and mine to a T. I highly recommend giving it a read at some point if you fancy it.
